Forgotten Mother's Day Card

Well I guess it's been a while since I've posted anything here. I never seem to have a lot to say. This is a Mother's Day card I had made for my mother in law but my absent minded husband forgot to take it and present it to her with her plant. So it's been sitting here for awhile, can't use it for anything else for it says Happy Mother's Day inside and mother on the outside. I guess we'll just have to save it for next year.
Stamps: Wild Rose, Floral BG
Ink: Pixie Pink, Pink Passion
Cardstock:Pixie Pink, Green Galore, WW
Accessories: Scalloped punch, versa mark, clear EB powder, Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon, Soft Subtles brads, Word Window Punch

SU Retiring List is up.

Hi everyone, This is a possible Father's Day card. I'm still experimenting .Masculine cards are more difficult I think. I like the colors. I used the SU color wheel to come up with the color combo. Te other supplies I used are
Stamps: Lovely As A Tree, One of t All Year Cheers, I can't remember which one. Canvas BG
Ink: Cocolate chip, Old OLive, More Mustard, and Brocade Blue classic Stamping pads.
Cardstock: More mustard, Ol Olive and Brocade Blue and Kraft.

The Retired Stamping stamp sets list is up. There were many that I have that will be discontinued. So sad to see some of them go. I'm losing 15 sets and 4 wheels. I am anxiuosly awaiting to see what SU has in store for our new catalog which will be coming out in July.

Any way just wanted to post this card to let you see what I've been working on an there will be more soon. Thanks for looking. Til next time.

Feeling refreshed

No matter how hard I tried I could not get this to come out any staighter, so I decided to just go with it.

These last two days have been so beautiful here we've been in the 80 temps. I am feeling so refreshed and energized with the gorgeous days we've had recently. This is my time of year. I love summer weather. The kids found it hard going back to school today after a week of vacation. I had the day off from work today and I have tomorrow off too. It's suppose to be nice again tomorrow. "Yay" I do have a class but only for an hour and then I get to enjoy the day.

Here is a card I worked on this week. I love this cow and I got the sketch from SCS sketch challenge, it was a week or so ago.

Supplies used
Stamps: Itty Bitty BGS, Very Punny
Inks: Basic Black
Cardstock: Pretty In Pink, WW,BB
Acessories: Pretty In Pink stampin marker, Spots and Dots cb embossing folder push tack for piercing and black gingham ribbon.

This card was fun to make and I like the way it turned out. I also love the cuttlebug and the embossing folders, they are real easy to use. I haven't triee any of the die cut pieces yet, they look more complicated to use. Thanks for looking , til next time, have a good night

Not much to say, I just got finished making decorative paper clips. This was the first time I made them. They came out kind of cute. I will make a point to upload them sometime soon. We'll be making them this Sunday, depending on the weather. We're suppose to be in for a big storm this weekend I think starting Sunday so the class may be cancelled, we'll have to play it by ear.

School vacation starts here for the kids, it will be a welcoming brake from the monotney. I won't have to rush them out the door, they will be able to sleep. I'll have to work, but it will still be easier than when they need to get to school. Well got to go, it's getting late and I needto be in for 6:00 am tomorrow. Have a good night, til next time

April 12th

Well, here it is April 12th and can you believe we're getting snow and sleet and it's cold. We're in for another storm on Monday. The kids were disappointed because they had to go to school.
Anyways here is a card that we did when I went to a meeting in Rhode Island. I like the colors together. I was thinking on doing this at my class this Sunday but using the flower from All The Best instead because I don't own that set. Although I only have one person attending at the moment so I don't know whether to cancel it or just do the class. I think this would be pretty as a Mother's Day card.
I've been doing a lot of stamping but none to put here because I sent them out already and forgot to upload them before sending them out. Hopefully I can stamp some more and corat my blog, also I rally nd to update this more often.
Stamps: Touch Of Nature,Peaceful Wishes.
Inks: Old Olive, Basic Black
Cardstock: Confetti White, Old Olive, Marigold Morning.
Accessories:Stampin Pastels, sponges,Organdy gold ribbon an the 1/4 circle punch. All supplies from Stampin' Up.

First SAS

Hi everyone,

I just had my first SAS last weekend. It went well. Everyone was happy with the 8 birthday cards and envelopes that they went home with. I wish that more could have attended. But we did have fun anyway. I set up four projects at a time and then had a break for refreshments while I set up the next four birthday cards. Most of these were cased with a few changes, some no changes I will try to upload some of them soon. I wanted to keep the cards simple.
This past weekend I went to Rhode Island to a quarterly meeting. It was fun. I learned a couple of things that I really am glad that I got a chance to learn like how to break down what to charge for classes that we put on . It was really ineresting. A lot of math though. I am going to try and do this for my classes. Also while I was there we made a card, an Easter egg, a squash book it's cute but it was difficult for me and a book that held envelopes so that we could put cards into to keep them togther.

Also this weekend my son was in the school play they did The High School Musical. The kids did a wonderful job all of them and I was proud of my son. The first night they had tech difficulties with the mic. We weren't able to hear well the first half, by the second half we could hear them beautifully. The second night was probably the best performance the kids really let themselves go, they were terrific the acting, singing and the enthusism was all there. Thanks for visiting, til next time have a great rest of the day.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to say that I've visited many of the blogs on here and they are all wonderful. You all have great blogs, you have all this neat stuff added on to your blogs. Mine is so basic because I don't know how to do or link things. I do have some stuff added but I don't know if what I have works or is running. I just wanted to say that I admire all of your blogs and how nice they look. I hope I can get mine to look as great as yours someday.

Also the creations I have found through my visiting are awsome. You guys are so talented and creative. I love to look at the cards and projects that people have done. There have been some great ideas on here. I guess I just wanted to say thanks for sharing about yourselves and your creations.Til next time.

Hello

Hello,

It's been a while, not much going on lately, but I figured I'd better touch base with my blog. I just added a guest book, please feel free to sign it, it's nice to know that people are visiting, and that I'm not just blogging to myself . I haven't any new cards yet but will soon. I'm prepaing for a Stamp A Stack soon and looks like I will have a good crowd lets hope the weather will coorperate. We've had a lot of freezing rain here lately.
The kids were really dissapointed this morning, we were getting a snowstorm and they were hoping for a day off from school but it didn't happen, they didn't even get a delay, although I thought they should have, it was pretty slippery this morning.
Well I guess I'll work on the last stamp a stack card that we are going to do, and then it's get cutting. Thanks for visiting and til next time.

Finally Got Snow

Hi Everyone,

Happy Valntine's Day. Hope everyone enjoyed it. Well we finally got snow. What a messy day it was here. I had to work this morning at 7 and the roads weren't too bad. It was slow. The boss sent us home early. I was very happy, I hate driving in the snow. Coming home was horrible, I couldn't see out of my windows they kept freezing up and I was afraid to stop because of the cars behind me and pulling off to the side was scary as well. I finally made it home. The kids were home anyways. Now they'r hoping for no school tomorow too, don't think that is going to happen. The snow has pretty much ended now.Have a reat night thanks for visiting, til next time.
